# Upsells installation

> Set up upsells and cross-sells across your Shopify store.

Bonde's upsell system lets you display targeted product offers at multiple touchpoints to increase average order value.

## Upsell types

| Type               | Where it shows                        | Best for                                   |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Product page**   | On individual product pages           | Complementary products and accessories     |
| **Cart**           | In the sidebar cart or cart page      | Add-ons before checkout                    |
| **Checkout**       | During checkout (Shopify Plus only)   | Last-minute additions                      |
| **Post-purchase**  | After checkout, before thank you page | One-click upsells                          |
| **Order tracking** | On branded tracking pages             | Repeat purchase offers with discount codes |

## Installation steps

    Go to **Online Store > Themes > Customize**, click **App Embeds**, and enable the **Bonde** app embed.

  <Step title="Add upsell widgets to your theme">
    Depending on which upsell types you want, add the appropriate app blocks to your theme:

    * **Product page**: Add **Bonde: Product Page Upsell** to your product template
    * **Cart**: Enable the [sidebar cart](/sidebar-cart/index) or add the widget to your cart page
    * **Checkout**: Add the checkout upsell block (Shopify Plus only)
    * **Post-purchase**: Enable the post-purchase extension in checkout settings

    In the Bonde app, go to **Upsells** and create your upsell offers with trigger conditions and discounts.
