Bonde’s sidebar cart (also called a cart drawer) replaces your theme’s default cart with a feature-rich experience that includes upsell display, bundle grouping, and subscription information.

Installation

Enable the app embed

Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize, click App Embeds, and enable the Bonde app embed.

Enable the sidebar cart

In the Bonde app, go to Settings > Upsells > Sidebar Cart and toggle on the sidebar cart.

Configure settings

Customize the sidebar cart appearance and behavior in the settings panel.

Configuration options

In Settings > Upsells > Sidebar Cart, you can configure:
  • Enable/disable: Turn the sidebar cart on or off
  • Styling: Colors, fonts, and spacing to match your theme
  • Upsell display: Whether to show upsells in the cart and how many
  • Bundle display: How bundle items are grouped and displayed

Cart upsells

When you create cart upsells in Bonde, they automatically appear in the sidebar cart. See Cart upsells for details on creating upsell offers.

Troubleshooting

Sidebar cart not appearing?
  • Make sure the Bonde app embed is enabled in your theme
  • Check that the sidebar cart is enabled in Settings > Upsells > Sidebar Cart
  • Some themes have their own cart drawers that may conflict - you may need to disable the theme’s cart drawer
Cart upsells not showing?
  • Verify you have active cart upsells configured
  • Check that the trigger conditions match the current cart contents
