How it works
- At checkout, the cheapest shipping rate becomes free. Customers can still pay to upgrade to express or other premium rates.
- On renewals, shipping is free automatically for the life of the subscription. No discount codes are needed.
- Local pickup and other non-shipping delivery methods are not affected.
Enabling free shipping on a plan
Open a product's subscription plans
In the Bonde app, go to Subscriptions and click Manage products, then select a product.
Mixed carts
Shipping is charged per order, not per item, so you choose what happens when a cart mixes free-shipping subscription items with items that don’t qualify. Go to Subscriptions > Settings and find Subscription Free Shipping:| Mode | Behavior |

| All items must qualify (default) | Free shipping applies only when every item in the cart is a subscription on a free-shipping plan. Adding a one-time item or a non-qualifying subscription removes the discount. |
| Any qualifying item | The whole cart ships free as long as at least one item is a subscription on a free-shipping plan. |
Things to know
- Existing subscribers aren’t affected. Enabling free shipping on a plan applies to new subscriptions only. Disabling it doesn’t add shipping charges to subscribers who already have the perk.
- Renewal preview at checkout. The checkout’s “Recurring shipments” summary may show your standard shipping rate. The actual renewal orders ship free—the perk is applied to the subscription when it’s created.
- Works with order consolidation. When order consolidation combines multiple subscriptions into one shipment, the combined order ships free if any of the included subscriptions has free shipping.
- Customers see the perk on your product page. The subscription widget shows a “Free shipping” badge next to plans that include it.
