Installation
Enable the app embed
Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize, click App Embeds, and enable the Bonde app embed.
Enable the sidebar cart
In the Bonde app, go to Settings > Upsells > Sidebar Cart and toggle on the sidebar cart.
Configuration options
In Settings > Upsells > Sidebar Cart, you can configure:- Enable/disable: Turn the sidebar cart on or off
- Styling: Colors, fonts, and spacing to match your theme
- Upsell display: Whether to show upsells in the cart and how many
- Bundle display: How bundle items are grouped and displayed
Cart upsells
When you create cart upsells in Bonde, they automatically appear in the sidebar cart. The upsells are triggered based on cart contents and can include discounts. See Cart upsells for details on creating upsell offers.Bundle display
When customers add bundles to their cart, the sidebar cart:- Groups all bundle items together under a header
- Shows the bundle name and total price
- Allows expand/collapse to see individual items
- For subscription bundles, shows the delivery frequency
Subscription display
For subscription items, the sidebar cart shows:- The subscription frequency (e.g., “Delivers every 30 days”)
- Any subscription discount applied
- Visual grouping for subscription bundles
Troubleshooting
Sidebar cart not appearing?- Make sure the Bonde app embed is enabled in your theme
- Check that the sidebar cart is enabled in Settings > Upsells > Sidebar Cart
- Some themes have their own cart drawers that may conflict—you may need to disable the theme’s cart drawer
- Verify you have active cart upsells configured
- Check that the trigger conditions match the current cart contents
- Ensure bundles are added through the Bonde bundle widget
- Check that the sidebar cart is properly initialized
